A full 120 lb block in, 390 bars out, in two strokes of the machine.
Straight down through the middle
Two pneumatic cylinders sit directly over the cutting frame's sides, on its centreline, and push straight down. Guide shafts beside each one keep the frame level. There's no overhang and no twisting load, so every bar comes off square.
Clean, square bars, every block
Each wire is tensioned on its own, so every bar is the same thickness. Grooved pads let the wires finish just below the block for a crisp bottom edge.
Nobody reaches the wires while they move
- Fully enclosed cutting area, with a clear window to watch the cut.
- Moves only when it's safe: door shut, table home, operator holding the button.
- Let go and it lifts. The door stays locked until the wires are back at the top.
- Fails safe if air is lost, with a padlockable lockout for cleaning.
- Hoist load-tested and an independent safety review on every machine.

How long does a build take?
Every machine is built to order. Your quote includes a confirmed build date based on the slots ahead of you.
Can it cut my block and bar sizes?
Yes. The standard build cuts a 21 × 12.5 × 13 in block into 3.5 × 2.5 × 1 in bars. We set the wire spacing, pads and molds to your sizes before we build.
What do I need in my shop?
Shop air at about 90 psi and 5 cfm, a 120 V outlet for the hoist, about 3.5 × 3 ft of floor plus 2 ft in front for the table, and roughly 6.5 ft of headroom.
What soaps does it work with?
It's made for cold-process and hot-process soap cut once the block is firm but still soft. Tell us about your recipe and we'll talk through timing.
How are wires replaced?
Each wire is individually tensioned and swaps in a few minutes with simple hand tools. Spare wires ship with the machine.
Do you deliver outside BC?
Yes. We crate and ship anywhere in Canada. Installation and operator training are included on Vancouver Island and can be arranged elsewhere.
Is it safe for staff to run?
The cutting area is fully enclosed. The cutter only moves with the door shut, the table home and the operator holding the button, and the door stays locked until the wires are back at the top. Every machine gets a safety review before it ships.
